Location Services

• GPS Accuracy: Ensure location services are enabled for accurate delivery reporting
• Privacy: You control your location sharing through device settings
• Safety: Do not visit locations that may be unsafe or inaccessible

🚫 Prohibited Activities

Content Restrictions

• False Information: Submitting knowingly false or misleading delivery reports
• Spam: Excessive or repetitive reporting that doesn't serve community needs
• Inappropriate Content: Offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content
• Commercial Abuse: Using the Service primarily for commercial promotion without community benefit

Technical Restrictions

• System Integrity: Attempting to disrupt, hack, or compromise the Service
• Data Mining: Automated data collection beyond normal app usage
• Reverse Engineering: Attempting to access underlying code or algorithms
• Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts to manipulate voting or reporting

• Helpful Attitude: Approach the community with a spirit of mutual aid
• Constructive Feedback: Use voting features to improve accuracy, not to punish users

🔒 Privacy and Data

Data Ownership

• Free Tier: Basic features of DryICE are available at no cost
• Premium Tier: Optional subscription provides extended radius, priority notifications, and additional features
• Pricing: Current subscription pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by platform and region

Payment Processing

• Web Payments: Processed securely through Stripe. Subject to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Mobile In-App Purchases: Processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), managed by RevenueCat
• Platform Terms: Mobile subscriptions are subject to Apple's and Google's respective terms and conditions

Subscription Terms

• Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or platform's subscription management
• Refunds: Refund policies follow the terms of your payment platform (Stripe for web, Apple/Google for mobile)
• Price Changes: We will notify you of any subscription price changes in advance
• No Refund for Partial Period: We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods

• Safety: Users are responsible for their own safety when visiting reported locations
• Availability: We are not responsible if reported ice is unavailable when you arrive

Damages

• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is currently free)

🚨 Emergency Situations

• Good Faith: During emergencies, we rely on community good faith reporting
• Priority Access: Emergency features may prioritize certain users or reports
• Coordination: We may coordinate with emergency services and relief organizations

Limitations

• Not Emergency Services: DryICE is not a replacement for official emergency services
• Verification: Users should verify critical information through official channels
• Safety First: Personal safety should always take priority over reporting

Service Content

• The DryICE application, design, and features are protected by intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content
• User-generated content remains owned by users but is licensed for community use

User Content

• Your Rights: You retain rights to content you create
• Community License: Content is licensed for community benefit through the Service
• Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to content you submit

📝 Modifications to Terms
